Dinner [Thomas, Shannon and Family]

I smiled at them.

Thomas took Shannon's hand at the same time

"It somehow still seems like just one big dream." I said thoughtfully, while Keven protectively wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

Shannon nodded, "I know the feeling" she replied

I gave her a small smile and nodded.
"Guess it'll take until I am actually walking down the aisle, with everyone watching me..." I said with a smile. "Somehow a scary thought."

Shannon nodded in agreement, "But a very lovely moment it will be Haylen." she said

"I do believe that." I said happily.

Shannon smiled at her, as did Erin, "Your going to look pretty Aunt Haylen" she said

"Well, I hope I do." I said, blushing a little.

Erin giggled, "Aunt Haylen, your glowing" she said, "Erin" Thomas said to her gently

"It's okay Thomas. I know I am." I said to him in a kind tone.

Thomas looked at Haylen, then nodded, Erin giggled again

I smiled at Erin.
"So... who wants dessert?" I asked looking at all of them.

"We do" the girls replied in unison

I smiled and then got up, walking back into the kitchen, Keven of course following me. Together we got the dessert back inside and settled again, after everyone got something.

Thomas and his family each took a plate and dug in

While eating my dessert I thought about all the time I knew Thomas and his family and the time I met Keven and found myself being happy to know all of them. And not really knowing what to say I just enjoyed my dessert in silence.

Erin looked at Keven, "Do you have a white horse?" she asked innocently, Thomas and Shannon looked over at her, both of them knew she would ask that

Keven smiled at Erin.
"Well, I sold it once I found my princess." he replied.

"Why?" Erin asked, "All knights are to have a horse."

"I see." Keven replied and thought for a moment. "See, I have my princess already, what do I need that horse for now?"

"To take her on rides" Erin replied, her sister's and parents smiled at her

Keven smiled a little.
"Well, I guess people at our age don't go on rides anymore, sweetie."

Erin looked at them, then down at her food

Keven wasn't really sure if he did say the right thing so he looked a little confused right now. Actually I wasn't sure about it either.
