Dinner [Thomas, Shannon and Family]

Keven looked up at Erin. "If you want to, you can try and spread your arms, while he's walking, just for a moment. He's very calm." Keven suggested, of course he would have his eyes on her if she would do it.

Erin nodded, then did so, smiling and giggling at the same time

While she did that, Keven kept his eyes on her, letting Officer Patrick go on a longer rope in a circle. Seeing both like that and seeing Erin actually let go of the blanket she was sitting on I knew she had to trust both, the horse and Keven and that made me happy to see.

Erin kept her arms out for a while longer, then took hold of the blanket again

"Brave girl." Keven said with a smile, as they were almost done with the second round.

Erin looked at Keven, then smiled, "Yep" she replied

Keven smiled back. Once they reached us again, Keven stopped and looked at Thomas and then at Erin.

Thomas looked at his daughter, who was all smiles, "I had a great time daddy" she said, Thomas nodded, "I can tell lass" he replied

Keven stood next to the horse and looked at Erin.
"May I help you down again?" he asked, but knew she needed help to get down.

Erin nodded, "You can" she replied, Thomas walked over at the same time

Keven told her to lean forward and then, still holding onto the horse get her leg from the horse's back. When she did that Keven caught her and carefully set her on the ground.

Erin giggled as Keven helped her off the horse, "I was a princess daddy" she said to Thomas, who smiled, then picked her up

Keven smiled and nodded. I gave him a loving smile and petted Officer Patrick's nose. He snuffed.

Thomas removed the helmet from Erin's head, then set her down, "Thank you" she said to Keven

Keven smiled. "You're most welcome, sweetie." he said to Erin.

Erin giggled in reply as Thomas handed the helmet back to Keven, "Can I do that again?" Erin asked

Keven took the helmet and then looked at Thomas and then at Erin.
"Well, not every day, but every once in a while we could arrange that." he replied as he gently petted the horse. Officer Patrick moved his head down and sniffed at Erin's shirt.

Erin smiled, it was clear that she was happy about that, "Thank you" she replied as Patrick sniffed her, Erin looked at him, "Funny horse" she said

Patrick lifted his head and snuffed and then nickered, before looking at Erin.
"He likes you, Erin." Keven said to her.

Erin looked at Keven, then back at Patrick, "I like yous too, but daddy says I'm to youngs for a boyfriend." she said, Thomas smiled a bit when she said that

Keven gave her a smile and I looked at Thomas, smiling.
"Well, he's probably right about it. But you can have male friends." Keven replied.

Erin giggled as she looked at Keven, "Yeps I can" she replied

Keven and I smiled.
"I'm going to bring him back in. I'll be back in a bit." he said and kissed my cheek before he lead the horse inside.
"I took some pictures. Wanna see them?" I asked Erin.

Erin looked at Haylen, "Sures" she replied

I turned the camera back on and got down to her level, showing her the pictures. The last one was my favorite, where Erin had her arms spread for a moment. She looked just like the happy girl she was.
