Thomas was on the phone for a while, then hung up, he sighed and walked down to the break room, seeing Haylen there, he walked in

I looked up at him as he entered, not sure what to think of his expression.

Thomas walked over to her, "I accepted, on the condition that the queen mentions that it was a team effort." he told Haylen

"So I have to call you Sir Thomas now?" I replied, smirking a little.

Thomas smirked a bit as well, "That will only be for formal affairs." he replied

"Good." I said. "What do I say? Congratulations?"

Thomas nodded and smiled a bit, "You can" he replied

I gave him a small smile and walked up to him, giving him a hug, what I wanted to do earlier.
"You're one lucky man." I said.

Thomas returned the hug, "Thanks" he replied

"You're welcome." I said, looking at him.

a few weeks later, Thomas and his family were in London for his knighting

Being his sister, only if half-sister I wasn't going to miss the event, so I went with them.

Shannon and the girls were with Thomas, Erin was the most excited by all of this, she looked around with wide eyed amazement

I smiled at them, and looked around as well.

Erin looked at Haylen, "My daddy is going to be a knight" she said, Shannon smiled at her when she said that, as did Thomas

"Yes he will." I replied, smiling at her and then at Thomas. "And his sis is very proud of him."

Erin smiled wide, at the same time, Catherine walked over, Erin saw her first

Catherine looked at Thomas, "Ready?" she asked, Thomas nodded, "I am" he replied, "This way then" Catherine said him, Thomas and his family followed her

I went with them, smiling a little, as I held Bridget's hand, which I have been doing ever since we got here.

Bridget looked around, amazed with it all, at the same time, Catherine was filling Thomas in on what was going to take place
