Lilyana's Story [Thomas]

I was at the pier nearby the lab, absently looking over the water. Actually it was quite cold, but at that moment I didn’t care. I was waiting for a call and I was worried sick and actually pretty angry.
Two days I’ve been trying to find that guy who hurt Lilyana, without being successful, now I was waiting for the exact same guy to call and tell me what exactly he wanted now. Actually it was supposed to be a rare day off and one of the these days that I would meet Thomas for lunch, being joined by Shannon every once in a while.
But being lost in thoughts and trying to figure out what to do I totally forgot about lunch and I only realized I did when someone sat down on the pier next to me.

it was Thomas, he had been waiting for her at the diner near by and was worried when she didn't show, "Haylen, whats going on?" he said to her gently, wondering what she was doing here on a rather cold day

I looked up, rather surprised and then down at my watch. I sighed a bit.
"I missed lunch... da... sorry." I said, frowning a little. "I'm... waiting for a call." I added, almost feeling I was lying to him. He knew I only came here when something was bothering me and I didn't know how to take it. But I didn't know how to tell him.

"Who is going to call you?" Thomas replied, not knowing it was about Lilyana

"You remember the guy we met three days ago at the park?" I asked him.

Thomas nodded, "I do" he replied, "Did he take Lilyana?" Thomas asked

I looked at him, surprised he seemed to read my thoughts. I looked back down and nodded slightly. I was angry, sad and worried at the same time.

Thomas looked away, trying to control his anger, "Did he send you any prof that he has her?"

"He called about an hour and half ago... he let me talk to her." I replied, not looking up.

Thomas nodded, then composed himself, "Could you tell were she was?"

I shook my head, still not looking at Thomas. I knew I should have told him right away. "Didn't hear anything in the background."

Thomas nodded, "Lilyana tell you anything?" he asked

"Besides that she was scared she didn't get the chance to say much. All I knew is she was on the way home when he got to her." I replied in a huff.

Thomas nodded, he was about to speak up again when a phone rang

I sighed and took my cell out. I didn't recognize the number.
"Becall." I answered my phone, listening to what I was told.

"I thought I told you to come alone" the man's voice said, Thomas looked over, wondering who it was, at the same time, in the guy's apartment, Lilyana sat on the bed behind him, her hands tied with a flex cuff

"Well, you aren't alone either." I replied, a little upset. It's him. I mouthed to Thomas.

Thomas nodded, then got his phone out and sent a text to Adam, telling him to trace the call on Haylen's phone

At the lab Adam did his best.
"Now, what do you want?" I asked.

Thomas looked back at Haylen, "Go to the Port Authority Terminal locker room and ask for the key to locker30." the man replied

I was a little confused, but right now I had no other choice. "And then?"

Thomas watched her, "You will see" the man replied before hanging up, "What is it?" Thomas asked

"Port Authority Terminal locker room and locker 30" I told him, putting my phone away. "He wants me to ask for that key... I wonder why."

Thomas nodded as he stood up, at the same time, Adam set him text, Thomas looked at it, 'Adam didn't have any luck."

I sighed a little. I kinda knew Adam wouldn't have a chance, but still it did frustrate me. I looked up at Thomas. "He gotta have view down here."
