Beat to hell. (Thomas/Mac)

I look down. "I know, I was stupid to keep pushing him. I knew he was in a mood before that."

"He cares a lot about you, Katrina, just as I do. I guess he was just worried and you not wanting to talk about him just got him going." I tell her a little more about my friend. "As far as I know his daughters talk to him about everything and I think he wants you to do that, too."

I nod keeping my head down. "There again its hard to forget where I came from. You know I don't talk about Bill. I say playing with my hands.

"I know that. I don't talk about him either. When I saw you today... I knew it was him. But it's your job to tell him, if you want to." I said in a kind tone. "But you're learning and I'm glad he took you in and treats you like his own daughter. Just don't forget that I'd do the same for you."

I look at Mac and nod. "Maybe I should go talk to him." I say in more of a questioning tone.

"If you want to I won't keep you from doing it." I say in an encouraging tone. "If you want to I'll come with you."

I smile and hug Mac. "I couldn't do all this without you."

I hug her back.
"That's what you have me for." I say and smile a little.

Thomas punched Bill in the gut, causing him to fall over

Mac and I walked up to see Thomas hit him, I look at Thomas.

Thomas looked at Katrina and Mac as they walked up to the house

I am actually surprised to see Bill at the Kelly's house, wondering how he knew that Katrina was staying with them. I look at Thomas with a puzzled expression. I knew that he didn't start the fight, but still what was this all about?

Bill soon got up and left, Thomas watched him

I watched Bill leave and look back at Thomas.
"What happened?" I asked him, getting a little worried.

I walk in the house not wanting to hear.

I watch Katrina and am a little worried now.

Thomas looked at Mac, "Bill came over wanting to talk to her." he replied

I nodded and sighed
"I wonder how he knew where she was staying..." I said quietly before looking up at him with a worried glance. "You okay?"[/i]

I get a water and take my pain pills.

Thomas nodded, "I'm okay" he replied

I nodded in reply.
"Well, I know what he's capable of... Did he say anything else despite that he wanted to talk to Katrina?"

I go and lay down for a bit.

"No he didn't" Thomas replied

I looked at Thomas and sigh. This wasn't to my liking.

Thomas could tell that Mac was upset with Katrina's father, he was too, but kept his anger in check for the time being
