Girl chat (Stella)

Sara was confused, she was having a conversation with her boyfriend Sean when marriage was brought up, Sara knew Sean was the one for her, but she felt that Sean did not feel the same way, Sara decided to go see Stella and ask for her opinion on the issue, making sure to compose herself as she walked to the door, once there, she knocked, then waited for Stella to answer

I was sitting on the couch with a large bucket of ice cream. Discovery channel was on my tv and I was watching peacefully till I heard someone knock on the door. I place the bucket on the table and walk to the door. I open the door and see Sara, I didn't expect her to be here but I must say it's nice to see someone standing in front of my door, it doesn't happen very often. "Hey Sara, what are you doing here?

Sara smiled a bit, "Hey Stella, can I come in?" she asked, hoping that she did not catch Stella at a bad time

"Sure, come in. Are you ok?" I ask a bit worried

the smile left Sara's face, replaced by confusion as she walked in, "Sean and I were talking after school, and I let it slip that I would like to marry him in the future." she said, a hint of worry in her voice

I turn around and look at you "and he didn't like the idea?" I ask

"Thats the part I'm confused about." Sara replied, "Sean is a great guy, we've been together since our first year of high school, but, he seemed unsure if we would be together that long."

"give him some time, I would be kinda shocked if my boyfriend which I don't have would talk about getting married" I smile

Sara nodded, smiling a bit as well, "Thanks Stella" she replied, sitting on the couch, "Hard time finding a guy?" she teased

"Yes, very hard" I smile and sit down next to Sara "There is no superman for me I guess" XD

Sara giggled a bit, "What about Mac?, he's crazy about you, Stella." she blurted out, looking over to Stella, Sara hoped she didn't say the wrong thing

"He's crazy about his job, I'm a family woman, I can't live with a person who's working all the time" I laugh and shake my head

"Point taken" Sara replied, smiling as she said that, "What about that cute firefighter I saw on your arm at the fundraiser?" she asked

"he wasn't really my type and a bit too young as well"

"Oh" Sara replied, she sat back on the couch, "I guess you would want a guy whos not a first responder?" she asked

"I just want a familly man, someone who rather be home than at work"

Sara nodded, "Understandable" she replied, "Its what all girls want, no matter what they say." she added

"I agree" I laugh and get up "do you want something to drink?"

"Sure, what do you have?" Sara asked as she sat up

"7-up, Coca cola, orange juice, apple juice, coffee, tea name it and I have it" I smile "with a teenager at home you better be prepared"

Sara giggled, "Tea will be fine" she replied, smiling at the same time

"alright, I'll be right back" I say and walk to the kitchen

"Okay, thank you" Sara replied, she then stood up and looked around the place, a photo on the wall got Sara's attention, she walked over and looked at it

I go to the kitchen and make Sara's tea

Sara looked closer at the photo and smiled, she then turned and walked back to the couch, sitting back down were she did before
