Some Secrets Cause Trouble [Thomas, Stella, Lindsay]

Thomas watched as well, then looked at Haylen after he was gone

I gave Thomas' a small smirk.

Thomas did the same, then turned to walk in side

"Not even curious to ask what I'm actually doing here, now are you?" I asked him before he got inside.

Thomas looked at her, "I have a good idea" he replied

"Care to share?" I asked him, now being curious.

"You wanted to confront Alex personally and look him in the eye." Thomas replied

"Well, wish I could say you were right, but I didn't really know he was out here." I replied.

Thomas nodded, "I see" he replied

"But at least I was here." I said, shrugging a little, as if it was nothing, though it wasn't really nothing to me.

"Aye" Thomas replied with a slight nod

"Well... I guess I can go back home now." I said, thinking about the feeling I had when I was home, the reason why I came here.

Thomas nodded, "Be careful" he said to her

"I promise." I said and turned to leave.

Thomas nodded, then went inside

I went back home, hoping to be done with Alex once and for all. Little did I know I wasn't quite yet.

Thomas was hoping the same thing, little did he know, he would be in a fight for his life in the next few days

A few days later in the lockeroom at the lab....

Thomas was there first, looking at the photo of his family that he had hanging up in his locker

I was a little late for my shift, thanks to the traffic. I was in a bit of a hurry when I entered the lockerrom, surprised to see Thomas still there.

Thomas looked over, "Stuck in traffic?" he asked

"Yeah.... seems like I have a talent for that lately." I replied with a small smirk as I opened my locker.

Thomas smiled, then got a page, "Well, I better take my leave, dead body in an old storehouse. I'll talk to you later." he stated before walking out, not knowing he was walking into trap

"Be careful." I said as I watched him leave, not knowing that soon I had the job to find him. I got ready for my lab work, having my own case still to work on.

"I will be" Thomas replied, he then headed out for the crime scene, a while later, Shannon was pacing in the lab's hallway, Thomas was not back yet and she knew that he never took this long to process a scene
