help her (Stella, Haylen, Lindsay)

Seeing her like that made me a little sad, but I tried to hide that a little so I wouldn't worry her. I gently stoke the little girls cheek, giving her a smile.
"You're going to be okay, soon." I told her in a gentle tone.

Bridget nodded slowly in reply as Haylen touched her cheek

I gave her a small smile and then looked at Shannon and the Fr.

Shannon and Fr. Richardson looked at Haylen, "Thank you for being here Haylen" Shannon said to her

I looked up at her and smiled a little.
"Anytime." I said.

Shannon smiled, then looked at Bridget, "If there is anything you need, call me." Fr. Richardson said to her, Shannon nodded, the priest then left

I just watched them and then looked at Shannon and Bridget.

Shannon continued to comfort Bridget

I smiled a little as watched them. I was wondering what I would be doing if it was my child lying in this bed, in so much pain. But I figured that I probably would do the same. And then I thought about something I brought with me today, which was still tugged away in my pocket.
A small stuffie, which I had bought two days ago wanting to visit Bridget these days. I pull it out and looked at her.
"See, who here." I said softly, setting the small cat onto the blanket. It had a small bracelet around her neck, which had three pendants; a heart on the right, a 'B' for bridget in the middle and an angel on the left. All small things of course.

Bridget looked at the stuffy and smiled, "Kitty" she said, Shannon looked at it and smiled as well, "Thanks Aunt Haylen" Bridget said to her

"You're welcome." I said and smiled. "And her necklace was supposed to be your birthday present. I'm sorry I couldn't stop by."

Bridget smiled wide, "Its okay Haylen" Shannon said to her softly

I nodded and smiled, glad I could make the little girl smile.

Shannon looked back at Bridget, smiling as she watched her hold the stuffed kitty

I looked at Shannon and smiled a little and then watched Bridget.

Bridget played with the kitty, "What shalls I names you?"

I watched her with a smile and then thought for a moment.
"Do you like the name Cory?"

Bridget looked at Haylen, then smiled, "I dos" she replied

I smiled at her. "Guess your kitty has a name now."

Bridget giggled, Shannon smiled at her, seeing that she was distracted from the pain she was in

I gave Shannon a small smile, glad to see Bridget smiling and hear her giggle.

Shannon watched her as the doctor walked in to check on Bridget

I watched the doctor checking on Bridget and hope she was better now.

Shannon did as well, after a while, the doctor looked at Shannon, "She is getting better, we would like to keep her over night just to be safe." she replied, Shannon nodded, then looked at Bridget

I smiled a bit when the doctor said that, glad to see Bridget was getting better.
"At least some good news." I said.
