hazing (Haylen)

"Nice to meet you Tina. I'm Rachel." I said to Tina, giving her a small smile.

Tina smiled back, "Cool name" she replied, Shannon was still listening in from the van, at the same time, Lisa and co-president Megan were watching Haylen and Tina, "Haylen, ask Tina what she knows about the sorority." Shannon said into Haylen's earpiece

"Thank you. Can you tell me a bit more about this sorority?" I asked her curiously.

Tina looked at Haylen, "Well, they are active in the community and on campus." she replied, looking around a bit, she then took Haylen by the hand and pulled her into the bathroom, closing the door, "I've heard rumors that the sisters partake in hazing." she said in a hushed voice

I gave her a surprised look.
"Do you believe that's true?" I asked her, acting a little shocked.

Shannon and the people with her listened closely, Tina nodded, "I do" she replied, looking straight into Haylen's eye

"I don't mean to sound... well... rude, but why did anyone do something against them? I mean, I heard those hazing's sometimes are very cruel..." I said, carefully to not blow up my cover.

Tina looked at Haylen, "You've heard correctly" she replied with a sigh, before going on, Tina looked out the door of the bathroom, then around them before looking back at Haylen, "You seem like a trustworthy person: I'm a journalist for the Post, my sister was pledging this sorority last year and got killed." she said to Haylen, Shannon was surprised when she heard that

I looked at Tina in surprise but also a little shocked.
"I'm sorry about your sister, Tina. Do you think you can bring them down?" I asked her, not knowing if I should tell her who I really was.

"I hope so" Tina replied, "I could use your help" she added, her eyes pleading with Haylen

Seeing the look in her eyes I knew I could trust her, though I didn't want to tell her the whole truth about me being a cop, but I decided to help her as that was what I was here for.
"I'm game." I said in a determined tone.

Tina smiled, Shannon did as well, "Good work Haylen" she said to her

I hid a small smile when I heard Shannon saying that to me. I looked at Tina a little uncertain about what to do now.
"So... what do you want me to do?" I asked her.

"Be a detective and look for anything that links the sisters to hazing." Tina said to her, not knowing Haylen is a detective

"My favorite hobby." I said with a small smile. "Guess we should get back, before anyone gets suspicious."

Tina nodded, then flushed the toilet and starting making small talk with Haylen as she opened the door

I played along and ask a few questions about the sorority, being the student I was supposed to play.

Tina answered them, back in the van, Shannon was impressed with Haylen's talent, at the same time, Lisa and Stephine, another sister, watched them and got suspicious of the two

I felt like being watched by someone and turned around, seeing the two sisters watching us I decided to walk up to them. Not knowing Stephanie Í greeted her with a smile.

"What do you want?" Stephanie said to her rather rudely, "Temper, temper young lady" Shannon said to herself

My smile faded.
"Sorry, thought you'd be a little nicer to new members in order to keep them." I said a little disappointed.

"Yes we have to be" Lisa replied, "You'll have to excuse Stephanie" she added, taking Haylen by the hand and leading her away

I nodded shyly and then looked at Lisa in a questioning way.

"Rachel relax" Lisa said to her, "Your among friends here" she said, meanwhile, Tina was in the basement looking around when Stephanie caught her

Rachel relaxed a little and gave Lisa a small smile, but I was on alert.
