Trouble [everyone]

I was still feeling like I was hiding from that guy who threatened me. Something I didn't really like, but there wasn't much I could do. So I stayed quiet while I was brought to the safe house.

at the house, Thomas got Haylen inside as he called for the detail that was to protect her till this was over

I followed him inside and looked around. Actually it looked pretty nice, but I would miss my work and apartment till this was over.
"Am I actually allowed to come back working?" I dared to ask him, not knowing how long this actually would last.

Thomas looked at Haylen after he finished, "You can't go back until this is over Haylen." he said to her gently

I let my shoulders sink a little, but nodded.
"'Kay." I said quietly.

Thomas watched her, then walked over, "This is not going to last long Haylen" he said to her

I smiled a little, letting him know that I was going to be fine.
"Can I get back at you if it lasts too long?" I asked him with a smirk. I sure was going to be okay and I was more than thankful to have a friend as he was and his family.

Thomas smiled a bit, "Yes you can lass" he said to her, "I better go, the detail will be here soon." he added as he walked to the door

"I'll hold you to that. See you." I said to him as he walked to the door. "And please, Thomas, give that guy a good kick from me, too, okay?"

Thomas nodded, then turned and walked out of the house, at the same time, the detail arrived and took over, the female detective that Thomas asked to be on lead walked in to were Haylen was

I was now sitting down on a chair, looking around, when a female Detective entered the room. I gave her a small smile and prayed I'd be back to normal, soon.

the detective smiled back, then looked out the window before looking back at Haylen, seeing that she was wanting this back to normal, at the same time, Thomas got back to the lab and went over the letter that was sent to Haylen

At the same time I was waiting on news, hoping that Thomas would keep me up to date how it was going.
"Just let this be over soon..." I said quietly.

Thomas soon got a lead the brother that sent the message to Haylen, he let her know via text message what he found out

I smiled a little when I saw his message, thankful that he let me know.
"Think this will take long?" I asked the female detective, wanting to at least have a small conversation, because the silence wasn't really comfortable.

the detective looked at Haylen, "I'm not sure" she replied

I nodded at the detective and hoped for the best.

the detective nodded back, then looked out the window to the house
