Getting into Trouble [Thomas, Katrina, Haylen]

"I do" Thomas replied

"Okay... what can do?" I asked him.

"Get to the station and check on the plate number that I called in." Thomas replied, giving her the number at the same time

I wrote the number down, just to be sure, I didn't forget it, though I was sure I didn't.
"I'm on it." I said, hanging up with him and quickly changing into jeans and another top, then grabbed my badge from the sideboard in the hallway and drove to the lab.

Thomas hung up, then handed the phone back to Katrina

I got to the station and asked for any leads on the plate.

meanwhile, the kidnappers sat Lily on a dirty mattress inside an old warehouse

Lily glared at the two guys, but it didn't help at all.

the men laughed at her, then left the room

Lily sighed, said a small prayer and tried to free herself.
Meanwhile I got an ID on the licence plate and called Thomas.

Thomas answered his phone, "Kelly" he said after picking up

"Hey, it's me. I got a match on the plate." I said, once he answered. "Seems like they weren't as careful as a trained kidnapper would be."

Thomas smiled a bit, "What did you find?" he asked

"Van belongs to a Chris Jacobs and it seems that he had business with Lily's father, Peter." I told him.

Katrina watched Thomas.

Thomas nodded, "We better pay the lad a visit then." he replied

"Yep. You picking me up?" I sasked.#

"Of course" Thomas replied

Haylen thanked him and hung up, then waited for her brother to pick her up.

In the meantime I managed to free my hands.

Thomas drove over to were Haylen was and picked her up, the drove them to Chris's place

I filled him in on what I found on Chris on the ride to that guy's place.

"Sounds like he has been a busy lad." Thomas replied as he listened

"Yep. He's been arrested twice already... he's been working with Peter Hermann." I told him, then sighed a bit. "I can't believe he took her..."

Thomas gently touched her hand, "He's not getting away with it"

I sighed a bit and nodded slowly. "I know..." I said quietly.
