Riddles and a Suicide [Everyone]

I was called to a crime scene, a young woman had been murdered in a hotel room.
The room was almost neatly clean when I got there, nothing out of place, except for the dead woman on the bed. She had short brown hair and truly looked beautiful, even if dead. I sighed and set my kid down beside the bed. There were no traces of a fight on her body, but seeing her eyes, which were open, it seemed that she may have been asphyxiated. I got my gloves on and looked around, finding a note on the night stand.
"What gets wetter and wetter the more it dries?" I read the note to myself, not noticing that my partner on this case already arrived.

I walked over to Haylen and said "A bath towel maybe."

I jumped a little and looked at him.
"That was my first thought. Could be the murder weapon." I replied, bagging the note.

"So whats our vics name?"

"Did find her purse yet, but hotel manager said the room was taken by Lydia Hanson." I replied.

Shannon walked into hotel room and looked around before starting to process, "What do we have so far?" she asked

I turned around, looking at her. "Dead beauty here could be Lydia Hanson. Haven't found any ID yet. But this nice riddle." I said, holding up the note, that I just bagged. "Otherwise this place looks much to clean."

Shannon nodded, then looked at the riddle, "What gets wetter and wetter the more in dries?" she said out loud, "A towel" Shannon added

"That's what Sheldon told me as well. I believe it could be the murder weapon. According the victim's eyes she was asphyxiated." I said, while putting the note away.

"Lets see if we can find the towel if it is a towel the."

I nodded and started taking some pictures of the victim, as I already started to look there. "It's a hotel... I bet we'll find more than just one."

"Definatly true."

I smiled a little and continued around the body, but found nothing else, despite a small fibre right in front of the bed. "Could be... underneath the victim, meaning, underneath the bed. Found a fibre that could belong to a towel." I said, bagging it.

Shannon nodded as she listened, then looked around, seeing a few items over turned, "Signs of a struggle" she said

"Defensive wounds on her arms. Though she sadly didn't have a chance." I replied.

Shannon nodded in reply, "Did she come here alone?" she asked

"As far as the manager said, she did." I said, nodding at the same time. "Though it kinda looks like she knew her killer."

Shannon nodded in reply, then looked around again

looking under the bed, I really found a towel there, just as I thought I would.

Shannon looked back at Haylen, "Find something?" she asked

"The riddle's solution." I replied, bagging the towel for processing.

Shannon nodded, then looked around the room again

I continued to process the area around the bed, but found nothing else.

Shannon had simile luck

"Well, lets get this bit to the lab and hope we find something." I said as I packed up.
