Family Picnic [Kelly Family, Katrina]

Sniper wagged his tail when Lilyana said that to her

She gently wrapped her arm around his neck and cuddled him a little.

Sniper licked Lilyana's face when she did that

Lilyana giggled a little and then pulled away, petting his head.

Sniper barked softly when she did

"Good boy." she said and kissed his head. I watched with a smile, but kept also an eye on them, always watchful.

Sniper wagged his tail, Enya smiled at them as she watched

Lilyana continued to pet Sniper, always enjoying to give him some extra attention.

Thomas looked over and smiled at the two, he was glad that Sniper had warmed up to all the new people that were around him

Lilyana looked at Thomas and smiled.

Thomas smiled back, then nodded to her in reply

Lilyana looked back at sniper. Ryan looked at his son. "You have a very nice family." he said.

Thomas looked at his dad, then nodded, "Thank you" he replied, smiling a bit

"You're most welcome." he said.

Thomas looked back at his family, a smile coming to his face

I smiled a little seeing him smile.

Thomas finished up what was in front of him as he talked with his father

Dad was more than happy to spend time with him. Keven joined them and I joined my mother, Enya and Shannon.

I held Star as she watched Keven still unsure about him.

Enya looked at Shannon, "You married a strong lad" she said to her, Shannon nodded in reply, blushing a bit, "That I did" she replied

Lilyana had taked Sniper to the field nearby to play with him and the girls, asking Thomas if she was allowed to, of course. I was watching them, just to be sure. A man was walking up to them and I noticed Lilyana stopping in her tracks. Little did I know it was the guy she told me about, the one that hurt her. I watched as Sniper protectively walked in front of Lilyana, looking at the man approaching her. It was clear that he didn't like the man at all.
"Tom" I called to my brother, the tone in my voice causing Keven to turn and look at me as well. I slowly made my way over to Lilyana, knowing Thomas and Keven would follow me.

Thomas looked over when Haylen called to him, he then got up and walked over with her and Keven, Shannon and Enya got the other girls back with them just in case, Sniper was in guard mode, the hair on his back standing up as he looked at the man

"Sniper obviously doesn't like that man." I said to Thomas as we walked up. Lilyana glanced at us then back the man, her grip around the leash tight, not because she was afraid he could break free, but she obviously was scared and it hurt to see that.

Thomas nodded, "He'll only strike if the lad makes a move or if I tell him." he replied, seeing the look on Lilyana's face

I nodded. "I know."
The man walked up to Lilyana and she then got her courage back, almost glaring at him. "I'd step back if I was you, because my friend doesn't like you." she said to him. The man smirked, not taking it seriously.
