Abusive Personality [Stella/Thomas]

"What do you mean?" Andrew asked, concerned, not knowing what to think now.

"Haylen tried to intervene and was hit by you." Thomas replied

"Yeah.... I... never touched her before... but me hitting my wife.... that's not me." he said quietly.

Thomas nodded in reply, then sat back in his chair

"I know it may sound crazy but... I almost believe that I am suffering from some kind of schizophrenia." Andrew said quietly.

Thomas looked at Andrew, "I be right back, okay?" he replied, Thomas got up from his chair and walked out

Andrew nodded and watched him leave.

Thomas walked out of the room and down the hall, a few minutes later, he returned with a department psychologist

Andrew looked up, not really knowing what was going to happen now.

"Andrew, this is Dr. Kellen, she is going to help us out." Thomas said to him

Andrew looked at them and nodded.

Dr. Kellen started to ask Andrew about himself and other things

Andrew answered the questions as good as he could, hoping it would help.

Thomas watched him, knowing he was being truthful

Once he answered all the questions he looked at them. "What's going to happen now?"

"Your going to be taken for further evaluation." Thomas replied

"Okay... thanks." he said.

Back in the lab, I was sitting on my couch again.

Thomas nodded, then watched as he was taken, he then went to check on Haylen

I had my chin rested on my hands and gently massaged my temples, trying to get rid of the headache. I didn't notice him coming back.

Thomas walked in and sat next to her, telling her all that was going on

I sighed a little when he finished, looking up. "Figured something like this happened to him." I said quietly.

Thomas looked at her, "Really?" he asked

I nodded, wincing a little as I did. "They've been married for almost 30 years. I've known them all my life. Andrew's never been like that. He's always been a loving and caring man." I said. "His father, though, had some kind of schizophrenia, when he got older. He always feared to get that, too."

Thomas nodded as he listened to Haylen talk about Andrew and his wife

"I think... if he's right about his guess and he does a therapy... that may give him a second chance. Michelle's not the kind of woman to just up and run." I said quietly.
