One abuse Vitim to another. (Thomas/Haylen/Mac)

I walk to Mac's office seeing Mac, Haylen and Thomas. "Ok Guys whats up?" I ask Mac had called him and asked me to come over.

Thomas looked at Katrina, "Katrina, what are you doing here?" he asked, a bit surprised

"Mac asked me to come." I say looking at Thomas then Mac.

Thomas nodded, then looked at Mac

I arched my brows and looked at Mac as well.
"Is it about the girl?" I asked and he nodded.

Thomas watched Mac as Haylen spoke

"I was thinking that maybe Katrina could talk to her. She may know how to get the girls trust to tell us what happened." Mac replied, looking at Katrina. "If everyone agrees, of course."


[you guys keep me from my breakfast now! lol ]

I nod. "What do you think happened to the girl?" I ask.

[I'm sorry ]

"We think she was abused. Pretty much looks like it." I replied to Katrina's question.


[don't worry ]

I nod slowly with a sad face. "Where is she?" I ask guessing she was in a Interrogatory room.

Thomas agreed to the plan, then took Katrina to were the girl was

I walked with them, promising Mac to tell him how it went, since he had another call he had to take, but he'd drop by if he could.
I didn't know much about Katrina's past and little did I know, that she went through the same as the girl she would be talking to.

at the door, Thomas held onto the handle, then looked at Katrina, "Ready?" he asked her

I nod and walk in seeing a little girl around eight years old. "Hi." I said sweetly.

Thomas closed the door behind her, then looked through the window, the little girl looked at Katrina, "Hi" she said in a low voice

I stood next to him, watching them.

"Who are you?" the little girl asked Katrina

"I'm Katrina, whats your name?" I ask.

"Sterling" the girl replied, she was starting to warm up to Katrina

"Wow that's a really cool name." I look at her and see a bruise on her neck. "How did you get that bruise on your neck?"

Sterling smiled a bit, "Daddy hurt me" she said

I nod sadly. "Have you told anyone? A teacher, friends parent...anyone?"

Sterling shook her head no

"She surprises me." I said quietly, watching Katrina and Sterling.

"I understand you don't want to, but your daddy shouldn't hurt you honey. But I understand better then you think. My father used to hurt my too." I say watching her.
