Some interrogatory

-I'm Dan Taylor.

I was sitting on a chair in the interrogatory room waiting for the guy who wanted to talk with me about something like a case.

I looked up to him when I heard 'Taylor'. It must have been a joke ! Jess told me he said to her he knew me. No that was not possible. There were others Taylor in New-York.

-So do you know this guy ?

I put a picture from the file on the table and showed it to him. Whereas he was looking at it I looked at him. Jess was under the truth... He didn't look like me ! I was like me except the way to dress and his hair.

It was a big joke !? That guy was like me ! Did I found my twin brother?

-He was a friend of me. A guy I've meet somewhere in one of the places I work.

-Last week, before I went to work. After that I didn't saw him again.

I was curious. Why was he questionning me like that ??

I was surprised.

-I wasn't been at my appartement this morning, I went to work a little earlier because of my boss.

-Yesterday I was working. I came back to my appartment only at midnight. You can ask my boss, I was there all the time and I didn't got any break.

-I will check this !

The next question escaped from my mouth and I could not do anything to prevent me from asking it.

-Do you come from New-York ?

I thought it was a question like the others, s I reply like the others.

-No, I came from Chicago.

Chicago, Taylor ? These two words danced in my mind.

-Have you any family there ?

-Nothing, my family is in Chicago. I don't know my biological parents.

-What do you mean ? Are your parents dead ?

I did not understand how he knew where were his parents if he didn't know them.

-No, I don't think they are dead... when I born they gave me to adoption....

I wondered what he could think of all these questions.

- Do you know why they gave you to adoption ?

My "parents" told me that they didn't have enough money to pay everything and that the didn't been able to give food to me and my brother.

-Do you know your brother ?

I felt obliged to add.

-I forgot to say my name : Mac Taylor.

-No I don't. They told me we were twins.

I did a smile.

-I was sure thats wasn't a joke.

I frowned eyebrows.

-A joke ? What do you mean ?

- I don't know... I thought somebody was trying to make me a joke because of my story about twins XD

I had completely forgotten he was the prime suspect of a murderer case.

-A joke in what way ?

-What way?

-I mean....

I did not know how to say something which was incredible according to me.

-You thought I could be your twin brother ?
