Getting to Know the CSI's

I remember Uncle Mac telling me to meet him at the NY crime lab after school one day. I didn't mind the walk there and actually I was quite excited about seeing an ACTUAL crime lab. Every since my mom bought me one of those play detective science kits when I was 7 I fell in love with the science of forensics. I went up the elevator alone and stopped at the right level. The elevator door opened and I met one of my uncle's coworkers.

Hi! they greeted with a big smile.

I saw Kasey walking out of the elevator, I decide to go say hi

"Hi Kasey, what brings you here?"

I look at her and smile

The first person I saw was Det. Bonasera, Uncle Mac's partner. I was very glad to see her.

Hi Detective! Actually I was just dropping by so Uncle Mac won't have to pick me up. Do you mind showing me where his office is?
I wasn't quite familiar with how the lab was set up, and I didn't think Det. Bonasera knew how eager and happy I was to be in an awesome crime lab.

It wasn't very hard to find Mac's office since you only had to walk straight ahead when you come out of the elevator.

I knock on the door and walk in, I never wait till he says it's okay to come in.
I just walk in quietly and if he's on the phone I sit on the chair and wait for him to finish his phone call.
This time he wasn't on the phone, I guess he is doing paper work.

"Hi Mac, there is someone for you"

I looked up from my paper work when Stella entered in.

I stepped to the side so he could see Kasey who stood behind me.

He looked pretty surprised to see me.
I took that invitation of your's to come look around in the lab. Did I catch you at a bad time? I told him, hoping the answer was no...

-No, not at all... I'm just doing papers nothing too much important.

I stood up happy to have the possibility to stop this work so boring.

-So what do you want to visit ?

Okay the question could be stupid but I was not sure she wanted to see the morgue for example.

I smiled as she was saying good bye to Kasey.

If he wants I'm able to stay as long as all the mountains of paper work are gone.

If not, I hope he will be home before dinner

-You could come with us for the visit before leaving.

I think I'd like to go by the trace evidence lab...or whichever place is most convenient. I said with a smile. If you want I can go on by myself so you can finish your work, Uncle Mac. I said reassuringly.
I hope it's not too much of a hassle for both of you and thanks for letting me visit,too!
If you didn't already notice, I was really excited to go around a crime lab. Very Happy

Thomas was walking through the lab when he saw Stella and Mac talking to someone, he stopped, then walked over to see if it was important
