Coffee with the Captain? (Anyone)

Just arrived in a new city. Went out to stroll around the area and found a Starbucks down the block.

Lunch break or should I say coffee break and what's the best place to go? Starbucks of course! I walk into the cafe and order my coffee with a muffin. Nothing is better than that! When i get my coffee and muffin I sit down by a table and smile to myself. Well done bonasera a well earnt break.

I had had a loong day at work. Or long night, better said. I had had a night shift and I was extremely tired. But even so, I didn't go straight home. I entered a Starbucks nearby, but where I hadn't been before. I sat down at a table, when I noticed a cute guy at another table, close to mine. I gave him a small smile and took a sip from my coffee, when I saw Stella a little further.

Saw a lady seat by the window eating a muffin. I went to approached her. "Hello, Sorry to bother you. My name is James Kirk". I offered my hand for a handshake. "I'm new to the area, do you know where I can find a nice apartment around here?"

I smiled. He was even cuter than I thought at first.
"Ivy Smith," I said and shook his hand. He asked me about a nice appartement. I was close to saying I don't, when I remembered that a neighbour was going to move and wanted to sell or rent the appartement.
"Yes, I think I know one," I told him. "It's right in my building."

I had been sitting at a booth not far from Stella and Ivy. I was there with Keven, as we met for lunch. I listened to them, surprised they haven't seen me. I couldn't hide a smirk when I heard Ivy say that to Mr. Kirk. Keven heard that, too and grinned at me.

I smiled. "Nice to meet you. Do you mind if I get the address of your building? I'd like to check out the place later"

"No, of course not," I told him and pulled a small notebook and a pen out of my purse. I wrote the adress and gave it to him. "Maybe I'll see you around," I said with a smile.

Smiles and takes the piece of paper. "I think we will. Thank you for your time Ms. Smith, I hope you'll have a nice day." Looked around and saw a familiar face at the further side of the cafe. "Please excuse me." I smiled and went on towards the other table. "Stella?"

I look up when I hear my name, i smile when I see who it is "James! What are you doing here?" I ask with a big smile and hug him. "I thought you were saving the world" i grin and pull away the hug

I smiled and looked at him going to Stella, who he seemed to know pretty well. My eyes widened a little. I put my notebook and pen back in my purse and took another sip from my coffee.

I smiled and hugged you back. "Thought it was you, you haven't change much. I just arrived a few days ago, I'm currently looking for a nice place around here. Mind touring me around Detective?"

"Sure no problem! Are you finally settling down?" I ask when i sit back down again."you're right im still the same. But you changed a lot! You're no longer the little Kirky" grins

Grins and seats down next to you "After all those years that you only saw me as a little Kirky boy, I'm glad that finally changed now." Pinched your arms a bit. "And yes, You might not believe it but I'm thinking of settling down. How about you, what have you been doing since I went away?"

I watched them from my spot, I was surprised that the good looking guy knew Stella. But I glanced at Ivy, she seemed surprised, too.
"Do I have to worry?" Keven asked quietly with a small smirk. I just chuckle.
"No one's gonna take me away from you." I replied and we both watched the area around us.

"I indeed can't believe it. You were so into the flying and all" I say with a smile."since you went away I've been working more than ever. It was about time you came back"

"I guess sometimes we realize that somethings are more important than the other." I said smiling. "And you submerged in work? that doesn't surprise me at all. You're still Miss Busy B."

"thats so true." Smiles "my job never stops, tho I wish it would sometimes" I say and remind myself of the large pile of paperwork on my desk.

I chuckled. "You still got that look Detective. I'm guessing you still have a lot to do today?"

"Yes i do but I also need a break. You should try the muffins here they are amazing" I say with a smile and look at my muffin

I followed your eyes on the small part muffin left in your hand. I took it and put it on my mouth. I grinned as I chew on it and sticks my tongue out on you. "They are amazing indeed." I said chuckling.

"Aww man, you are still the little Kirky.. i'll make you buy one for me someday!" I smile and shake my head "there goes my lunch, into your stomach"

On my table I tried not to laugh as I watched them, carefully. The waitress came to our table and Keven, gentlemen he was, paid for our lunch and it was time for us to leave.

I finished my coffee and decided to go home. I was exhausted. I left the money on the table and walked to the door, when I heard someone calling my name.

I started to laugh. "That's your lunch? You seriously need something more than that. You looked like someone who's about to faint. Stay here, I'm gonna get you some sandwich." Stands up and went to the counter. I saw Ms. Smith about to leave and called her. "Thanks for that address again. Take care" I said smiling.
