Danny had been working on a case together with Mac and Thomas.
Danny found a lead to a suspect and was chasing him down the street, towards an abandoned school building. He knew that he shouldn't follow the guy inside without backup, but he had no choice. Either he took the risk or he would loose the suspect. Not knowing what would happen inside he closly followed after the guy, seeing him hurrying to the staircase and run upstairs. Danny gave chase, his gun ready if needed. Once he was up he saw the guy running into one of the classrooms. Danny's instict told him not to follow the guy as he didn't know what to expect inside, but once again he had no other choice. Once he slipped into the room, he was attacked by the guy, who kicked the door close behind him.
Loosing the grip on his gun, Danny had now only his military training and his instincts to help him survive till he got some backup. He prayed that he'd be getting help soon.

at the same time, Thomas arrived at the location, his gun out, he entered carefully and looked around, it was at this time he heard the faint sounds of a fist fight, he made his way up were the fight was, only to see a man running out of a room, "NYPD HANDS UP NOW!" he shouted at the person, not knowing if it was Danny or the suspect

The guy turned around, while Danny was getting his gun off the floor, not really happy that the suspect escaped, but when he heard Thomas' voice outside it was raising his hopes of still getting this guy.
When the guy saw Thomas, he gave him a mock smile and with one quick move he was at the staircase rushing down.

Having arrived at the abandoned school together with Thomas, I stayed downstairs, making sure that when the suspect tried to escape from here, he wasn't getting far. Hearing the footstepts above me, I knew where they hurried to and so was ready to wait for who was about to run down the stairs, only to be stopped by my gun, aimed at him, as soon as he came into view.

Thomas sighed and ran after the guy, not knowing that Mac had stopped him, "DAM IT" he screamed out when he saw Mac, Thomas came up behind him, drawing down on him as well, "You might as well give up." he said

I nodded firmly, agreeing to Thomas' 'friendly' request. The guy had way out right now as he was surrounded by us.
"I suggest you better do what he says if you don't want to end up with a hole in your body." I said.

At the same time Danny had caught his breath and gotten to a condition he felt himself comfortable to show up in. He had a few scratches and probably will have a few bruises, but it was nothing too bad. With his gun still ready, he walked up to Thomas and stood next to him, while the suspect finally dropped his weapon and surrendered.

Thomas walked up and handcuffed the guy, then took him outside, holding his firmly by the arm as he walked

While Thomas took the suspect out of the building I gave Danny a worried look, not knowing what he sustained before we arrived.
"You okay?" I asked him, while I watched him coming down the stairs.

While walking down the stairs, Danny looked at Mac and then slightly nodded as he reached him.
"Just a few scratches... ya know me." he replied, trying a small smirk before he continued his way out of the building, now walking next to Mac.

Once Mac and Danny were back outside Danny headed over to Thomas, Mac of course following him. Danny had a soft look of sorrow on his face.

I noticed the look on Danny's face and was thinking about what he could be thinking about, but I wasn't sure if I should call him on it.

Danny stopped near the cars and turned around to look at Thomas and Mac, the look of sorrow still seen on his face, though he was trying to hide that. It wasn't really the case he was worried about.

Danny noticed the glances and his expression turns into a frown.
He could be glad that his following the suspect into the building didn't get him killed.

Danny looked over to where the suspect was now being taken to the precinct.
"This lad is Will Carter." Danny replied. "Eyewitness said he saw him with the victim before she was killed."

"So far he claimed nothin'. Saw me walkin' up to him and ran." Danny replied. "You know, like I'm a scaring person." he added with a small smirk.

Thomas could not help but smirk as well when Danny said that, "Well, we better get him back to the station and ask what he knows." he replied
