Unbelievable [everyone]

"You want me to stay?" I asked Stella, noticing the sadness in her voice.

"yes, if that is ok with you" I turn my face to you and smile

"As long as you want to." I say and smile.

"I want you to stay with me Mac but I also want you to get some sleep" I tell him

"Don't worry about me, Stella, I'll be fine." I said warmly.

"maybe the nurse can bring you a pillow and a blanket" I reply with a smile

I smirk at that suggestion.
"Well, I guess I am fine where I am." I smile.

"You are but might get a bit cold later" I say

"I can handle that, Stella. It's more important for you to rest and I'll be here when you wake up." I said and smiled.

"I want you to sleep as well or I'll feel bad Mac, you know that" I reply with a smile

"I know and I will, right here and trust me, I'll be fine. I'm... fine, really." I say and smile, gently squeezing her hand.

I smile and say nothing, but rest my other elbow on the edge of the bed and rest my head on my hand, looking at Stella.

"Is that comfortable?" I say in disbelieve but still smile

"For now." I say and smile.

I smile and lay my other hand on your cheek "try to get some sleep as well ok"

"I will as long as you stay here" I smile and close my eyes

"I'll be here when you wake up, no need to worry about that." I say with a soft smile.

"Thank you" I whisper and slowly fall asleep

I smile and watch her falling asleep and some time later, I actually am loosing the fight to stay awake.

I feel the sun shine in my face and open my eyes, I'm glad to see Mac as the first person that day

As I feel the sun on me I open my eyes and am surprised to see Stella's already awake,
"Morning." I greet her warmly. "Slept well?"

"Morning" I smile as I watch his eyes go open "I slept better than I expected, what about you?"

"Well, actually wasn't as bad as expected." I say and smile
