Thomas nodded, "We better check on the girls." he replied

I nodded and turned around, walking to over to EMTs that were checking on them.
One noticed the small scratch on my forearm, from the fight with that guy.

Thomas walked up to Tiffany as an EMT finished checking her

I was quietly talking to Sasha, as she was checked from another EMT. It was clear that she was shaked up.
One of the EMTs walked up to me, noticing the scratch. "We should check on that, Detective." he said, but I shook my head.
"It's just a scratch and these girls are more important right now." I replied.

at the same time, Thomas asked Tiffany what she knew, Tiffany told him everything she could remember

After the EMT finally agreed on checking on my scratch once the girls were being treated I gently asked Sasha a few questions and she as well, told me what she could remember.

Thomas finished up, then walked over to the other detective that was there, comparing statements with him

After I was finished talking to the rest of the girls, I made my way over to them, wanting to see what else they found.

Thomas looked at Haylen, "What you find out?" he asked

"The girls I asked where taken in pretty much the same way. Mostly from their sorrority houses." I replied and that told him what else the girls said. "And you?"

Thomas nodded, "Tiffany said that she was taken as she left the library." he replied

I listened and was just about to say something when I saw a silver car with colored windows slowly heading toward us. Most of the SWAT people were already gone with the guys we arrested and the girls were taken to the hospital, leaving only one team of SWAT officer and one ambulance, with two paramedics that were just packing up.
Once the car got closer I noticed the muzzle of a automatic gun coming out and made my move forward, strong enough to pull both, Thomas and the other detective, to ground with me, just as a tray of bullets hits the SWAT car, that was next to us, killing one of the paramedics as the car pulled past us. As it reached the building, the silver car blew up, before anyone knew what just happened.
As I pushed myself off the ground to a sitting position a pain ran through my wrist and I pulled it off the floor.
"Ouch." I said subconsciously and then looked at the detective to my right and then at Thomas, who was to my left.

once he was on the ground, Thomas and the other detective go their guns out and looked at the car in time to see it blow up, Thomas got up and looked around, "What the heck?" he asked after a few seconds

I was still on the ground, not sure if I even wanted to get up so I just looked at Thomas with the same expression he just put into words What the heck?

Thomas looked at Haylen, then helped her up

"Thank you." I said once I was on my feet and then looked around. My wrist still hurt and I knew that I now had to let it be checked.

"Your welcome" Thomas replied as he put his gun back in the holster, at the same time, he called one of the EMTs over

I looked at him, actually not liking the fact, that I now really had to let someone tend to me. But it had to be done. At least I saved our lives.

Thomas stood back as the EMT worked on Haylen

The EMT checked on my wrist.
"You're lucky, Detective. It's just sprained. A simple suspensory bandage is enough." he said as he wrapped my wrist. "Thank you." I said to him.

"Your welcome" the EMT replied as he wrapped Haylen's wrist

Once it was done I turned and glanced at Thomas, but stayed where I was, looking around again.

Thomas watched Haylen, then walked over to the car so he could process it

I sighed a little and then made my way over to him, stopping at the car we came in and got my kit out.
"I hope I'll be of help." I commented and got my not wrapped hand into a glove, though I had some trouble with doing that.

Thomas looked at her and nodded, "Any help is welcome" he replied
