Moral description:Keira comes from a family of Lawmakers (the Gavin family) and Lawbreakers
(The Wilders) She was often raised by her two Uncles, Tommy, and Johnny. She wants to follow in her Uncle Johnny's foot steps. Most of he mother's family are either lawyers, Firefighters or Police officers. She wants to put men like her father away in jail where they belong.
Her Uncle Johnny is shot during a stake out, Keira blames herself for his death, since he was staking out her family, Ryan Wilder. Keira was never the same after that. She strives to live up to the Gavin name, most of the police officers knowning that name, Johnny being a bit of a legend among the NYPD.
Keira is rich, being a millionair in NY. After Her Grandfather's murder he leaves her 2.5 million dollars. Keira donates to the Mayor's fundraisers every year, especially the 9/11 fundraiser. She also donated to the New York Crime Lab after the Lab was blown up (By Mac Ahem!). She also donates to the NYPD when the city announced they can no longer pay some of the members of the NYPD (in Party's Over). She also pays to have Adam stay in the lab, after Adam recives a letter from (Mac/ Chief Sinclair) saying he was being cut because of budget cuts.
Keira can be decribed as being eccentric. She can be very humorus and witty, keeping Detective Don Flack on his toes. She is very smart and very oberservant. She has a unique ability of Empathy, she can feel what other's feel, and can read body language very easily. using the ability to her advantage.
She hates it when people see's her for her father, Ryan Wilder. Because of whom her father is people don't always trust her.
She loves animals, having two dogs, Irish Bailey a two year old Border Collie and Eclipse, a 13 week old beagle.
Keira also plays in a band at a local club, she is the singer in her band 'Boy's in Blue' and plays the guitar.
Like Detective Don Flack, she is very stubborn, often hiding her feelings and not sharing them. She refuses to show her weakness, although she will show her anger, which very many people rarely get to see.
History: Keira comes from an eccentric Irish family. Most of her father's family and mother's family living in Ireland.
Keira's Mother disappeared when she was 5 years old, after walking out from an arguement with
her father, she stroms out, never to return. She is pressumed dead, her body has still yet to be found. Her father Ryan, after the disappearence of his wife abuses Keira out of fustration and anger. When he is not abusing her he is 'working' keeping the family buisness in tact. Her two uncles care for her when her father is too busy, which is almost daily. Her cousin Jimmy, being her bestfriend, or more like an older brother, even though he is thrity years older than her. Johnny tains her for the academy, being her own peronal coach, after his death she lost a little bit of her self.
Like Mac Taylor in loosing his wife on 9/11 she also has seen the horrors of that day. She lost her bestfriend, Jimmy to the towers. they have not yet found his body.
Now living in Manhattan with her bestfriend, Paige she tries her best to put away the bad guys
and make the world a safer place to live.
